Message Title: The Journey from Fear to Forgiveness
Speaker: Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen

Have you been feeling as if half the people in this country are living in an alternate universe?  Are you having difficulty understanding how someone could think in ways that are so completely different from the way you think?  The truth is we all feel the same pain. We all have fear that clouds our judgement and makes us behave in ways we normally wouldn't.  But we can break through that fear, learn to listen to one another, and find a way to love and forgiveness.  We hold the key.

Message Title: Becoming ~ What?
Speaker: Rev. Rosemary Hyde

All week, as election news has continued to emerge and be processed I’ve gone through a spectrum of feelings:  disgust and disbelief, then fatigue with negative thoughts, then a ray of light the next day, dashed by nighttime.  This was followed by trying to figure out what is going on – why does all this feel so bad?  Why has voting begun to feel so traumatic?  What has happened to our belief that being American is special and better?   We are experiencing a wonderful opportunity – bad as it has been feeling – to awaken our higher consciousness and allow ourselves to be transformed spiritually.  This is a paradox in action.  I’ve been finding our 5 Unity Principles to be a great framework for figuring out what I need to do next.  We can blame Trump, the media, the courts.  But we also need to look our own misalignments in the eye and retune our awareness in important ways, however the election turns out.
