Holiday Support Group
There are many “shoulds” about how families and holidays should be: Families should love each other. Families should get along. Holidays should be fun. The holiday season is supposed to be “the most wonderful time of the year”, indescribably wonderful! However, sometimes the reality is often much more complex, and hard.
The facts are that some people do not have happy families, happy family memories or happy holidays. Many people feel constrained by time or filled with dread about potential family conflict or, ashamed by their financial limitations to buy presents, travel, etc. And, the desire for some to create and experience the “perfect Christmas” can feel stressful and overwhelming.
If you think you may be challenged this holiday season by any of these scenarios please consider reaching out. Unity Center of Peace will be holding a series of holiday support group sessions on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30pm ET, Nov. 30-Dec. 28. The group sessions will be facilitated by Ault Nathanielsz, Ph.D., life coach and experienced support group facilitator.

These sessions are free although if you would like to give a love offering to UCP it would be warmly accepted. Love offerings can be given HERE.
Sending you much love during this holiday season.
