DESCRIPTION:Let’s come together in a simple ceremony of thanksgiving and 
 celebration to honor the bounty of the harvest. In giving thanks to the We
 ather Spirits for the beneficial rains and snows that blessed our area thi
 s year\, we realign ourselves with the natural forces that provide life. T
 he rain\, clouds\, wind\, sun\, thunder and lightning all work together to
  bring us the moisture that waters our crops and replenishes our lives. Th
 ese ancestral ways of honoring our relationships have held the balance bet
 ween humans and the world around us for many ages. As we see increasing ev
 ents of flood\, drought\, and fire\, it seems vitally important to recogni
 ze the inter-relatedness of all living things and our need to foster those
  relationships that make life possible. Let us celebrate the abundance and
  connect with Divine by expressing our gratitude for all of our blessings.
  As an initiated Weather Worker (granicera or quiatlzques) in the Nahua tr
 adition of central Mexico\, Annie is  grateful to offer this ceremony as 
 a simple but powerful event of connection and gratitude.\n\n\n\n \nTo Par
 ticipate in the Ceremony:\nEach person please bring—\nSeveral pieces of 
 colorful\, sweet whole fruit\nOne bunch of colorful\, fragrant flowers\nOn
 e piece plain bread and one piece sweet bread\nAlso\, please bring a home-
 made dish\nThe ceremony starts promptly at 1:30 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease pre
 pare a home-made dish to contribute to our shared meal. We also encourag
 e you to take a small piece of that home-made dish to put on the altar wit
 h the other offerings. (We will provide small paper plates for this.) The 
 energy and love that you put into the creation of the dish is then offered
  to the Weather Spirits on the altar that we’ve all created. \n\n\n\n\n
 \n\n\n\nAll are Welcome.\nWomen are asked to wear skirts or dresses\nMen a
 re asked to wear long pants \nAll clothing should be colorful (no black p
 lease)\nJoin community in creating a bountiful altar of all our offerings 
 to give thanks for this years’ wondrous harvest!\n\n\n\n\n
