Mon, December 02 2019 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
At Unity Center of Peace Campus
Join us for our powerful #MeditationMonday double-header. Starting at 5:30pm, we will offer an experience for those who enjoy more of a guided meditation. During the hour we will also discuss why a meditation practice is our number one spiritual tool in Unity and how it affects every aspect of our being – spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. We’ll also explore how by sitting in meditation you positively impact the world. During this hour you will also have an opportunity to ask questions and we’ll troubleshoot challenges.
Then at 7:00 pm, Lorraine Lewis facilitates a meditation experience for those who enjoy more silence. Also, during this hour you will have the opportunity to offer prayers for yourself, loved ones, and/or specific events in the world.
Lorraine has completed Duke Integrative Medicine’s “Mindfulness Training for Professionals”. She has been a spiritual practitioner for over 30 years and is a certified HeartMath® Coach. Lorraine has been leading meditation at Unity Center of Peace for 13 years and also leads of the Prayer Team. Her life work is devoted to supporting people in feeling conscious union with their innate divinity more fully.
Rev. Victoria Loveland-Coen will be leading the 5:30 guided meditation experience on the first Monday of the month. In addition to being the co-minister at Unity Center of Peace, she is a long-term meditator (30+years), the author of Manifesting Your Desires and teaches the Spiritual Education and Enrichment course on Meditation.
