Book Study - The Anatomy of Peace - Resolving the Heart of Conflict

Fri, July 02 2021 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Warfare doesn’t only happen with physical weapons and artillery. Many of us are warring daily with our family, colleagues and friends. We feel frustrated, angry, bitter, jealous, or indifferent, and respond in ways that perpetuate the very conflicts and behaviors we don’t want. “The Anatomy Of Peace: Resolving The Heart Of Conflict” by The Arbinger Institute presents the root cause behind all types of conflict at personal, professional and global levels, and how to reach a peaceful resolution.

The book The Anatomy of Peace, Resolving the Heart of Conflict is published by the Arbinger Institute and is told as a story: Yusuf al-Falah, an Arab, and Avi Rozen, a Jew, each lost his father at the hands of the other's ethnic cousins.  The Anatomy of Peace is the story of how they came together, and how they help others solve conflict and find peace.

Rev. Victoria will be focusing on the concepts in the book for her Sunday talk series starting June 27.
