December Full Moon Fire Ceremony with Annie Eagan
Humans have been sitting around fire since the beginning of civilization. In the fire’s presence, we connect, share, find silence, feel witnessed, tell jokes or stories, drum or sing songs. With the energy of December’s Full Moon, our emotions may be amplified, and our desires more apparent. This surge of energy creates an ideal time for manifesting our deepest goals and dreams. With the fire’s protection and power of transformation, this can be a mysterious and illuminated time.
With the permission of the Huicholes of Western Mexico, we will sanctify the fire by making offerings loaned to us by their ancestral tradition. In this way we deepen our connection to the fire and to one another’s hearts.
Join us as we share in the fire’s warmth, light, connection and gifts of transformation. We look forward to seeing your eyes across the flickering flames of the fire.
The offerings will be provided and the fire will be facilitated by Annie Eagan, a Mara’akame, or initiated shaman in the Huichol tradition and a Granicera, or initiated shaman in the Nahua Weather Working tradition. She has hosted fires for more than twenty years with her husband, Dan Sprinkles in Maine, Florida, New York and North Carolina.
Our monthly full moon fire ceremonies are open to all ages, and families are welcome. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned participant, you’re invited to join.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a chair.
