Adopt-a-Hwy Clean-up
Since 2018, UCP has proudly participated in North Carolina’s Adopt-a-Highway program. Through this partnership, we join communities across the state in helping keep local roadsides clean, safe, and welcoming.
As part of our commitment, UCP has adopted the stretch of Seawell School Road surrounding our home location. Four Saturdays each year, volunteers come together to help care for this shared community space by removing litter and beautifying the area.
These clean-up days are about more than picking up trash — they are an opportunity to care for the environment, strengthen community connections, and show love for our neighbors and community. By working side by side, volunteers help create a cleaner and more beautiful Chapel Hill for everyone.
Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome. We will gather in the UCP parking lot before walking together up the driveway to Seawell School Road as a group. Safety supplies and instructions will be provided before the clean-up begins.
If you would like to participate, please complete the online registration form so we can plan accordingly and ensure everyone has the necessary materials and support.
