DESCRIPTION:Let’s come together in a simple ceremony of thanksgiving and ce
 lebration to honor the bounty of the harvest. In giving thanks to the Weat
 her Spirits for the beneficial rains and snows that blessed our area this 
 year\, we realign ourselves with the natural forces that provide life. The
  rain\, clouds\, wind\, sun\, thunder and lightning all work together to b
 ring us the moisture that waters our crops and replenishes our lives. Thes
 e ancestral ways of honoring our relationships have held the balance betwe
 en humans and the world around us for many ages. As we see increasing even
 ts of flood\, drought\, and fire\, it seems vitally important to recognize
  the inter-relatedness of all living things and our need to foster those r
 elationships that make life possible. Let us celebrate the abundance and c
 onnect with Divine by expressing our gratitude for all of our blessings. A
 s an initiated Weather Worker (granicera or quiatlzques) in the Nahua trad
 ition of central Mexico\, Annie is &nbsp\;grateful to offer this ceremony 
 as a simple but powerful event of connection and gratitude.\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;
 \nTo Participate in the Ceremony:\nEach person please bring—\nSeveral piec
 es of colorful\, sweet whole fruit\nOne bunch of colorful\, fragrant flowe
 rs\nOne piece plain bread and one piece sweet bread\nAlso\, please bring a
  home-made dish\nThe ceremony starts promptly at 1:30 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlea
 se prepare a&nbsp\;home-made dish to contribute to our shared meal.&nbsp\;
 We also encourage you to take a small piece of that home-made dish to put 
 on the altar with the other offerings. (We will provide small paper plates
  for this.) The energy and love that you put into the creation of the dish
  is then offered to the Weather Spirits on the altar that we’ve all create
 d.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll are Welcome.\nWomen are asked to wear skirt
 s or dresses\nMen are asked to wear long pants&nbsp\;\nAll clothing should
