What is Pick-a-Party, you ask? It’s one of the most fun and heartwarming ways to connect with your Unity family! Pick-a-Party is a series of unique gatherings hosted by members and friends of Unity Center of Peace — either in the cozy comfort of a host’s home or right here at UCP. Each event offers something special: delicious food, laughter, creativity, music, conversation, and meaningful connection with fellow UCP friends.

Whether it’s an elegant dinner party, a lively dance night, a relaxing afternoon by the pool, or a hands-on creative experience, every Pick-a-Party event has its own unique theme and personality. These gatherings are designed to bring people together, create joyful memories, and celebrate community in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Over the years, some unforgettable favorites have included Lakeside Shrimp on the Barbee, Mediterranean Feast & Pool Party, Dance Jam, Pizza & Sing-Along, and Paint & Play — all huge hits that guests still talk about long after the party ends!

Pick-a-Party is also a fundraiser supporting Unity Center of Peace, with each experience priced according to what’s included. Every party helps support the programs, community, and mission of UCP while creating joyful experiences and lasting connections.

The parties have already begun with Rev. Ana Quintana’s Salsa Dance Blast in May — and the excitement is just getting started! Now we’re inviting YOU to be part of the fun by becoming a host. Share something you love — a meal, hobby, activity, game night, creative experience, or themed gathering — and create a memorable experience for your fellow UCP friends.

Hosting is easy, rewarding, and a wonderful way to build community. You can host from your home or right here at UCP. Whether your gathering is simple and cozy or lively and elaborate, your unique idea could become the next favorite Pick-a-Party event!
