White Stone Ceremony

Celebrate the start of a fresh New Year with us! On Sunday, January 4th, Unity Center of Peace will host our annual White Stone Ceremony, a sacred tradition that invites each participant to claim a new vision for the year ahead. During the service, you’ll be guided to write your personal word or phrase on a white stone—something you can carry with you as a touchstone and reminder of your intention throughout the year.

In Unity, this ceremony is our way of setting heartfelt intentions—similar to resolutions, but grounded in spiritual guidance. Through a peaceful, guided meditation, we open ourselves to inspiration and listen for the word or words that will lead us forward. These chosen words reflect our highest aspirations and the qualities we are ready to embrace or express in the coming year.

As we each discover the one or two words that resonate with the changes we wish to welcome, we give thanks for this beautiful opportunity to begin the New Year with clarity, purpose, and a clean slate—symbolized by the white stone itself.
