Faith Family Forum

On Sunday, January 18th the Youth and Family Ministry program at the Unity Center of Peace in Chapel Hill, NC will be hosting a "Faith Family Forum" to talk about the rituals and routines in family's daily lives that exemplify our Faith. We want to start a conversation about what we are already doing, how to refine what we are doing, and how to imbue more conversations on spiritual development. The Youth Director, Shannon Preto, will lead a discussion in which the parents will lead, share, and support their family members' continued spiritual development.
Questions for discussion may include:
- What words do you use to talk about God, your Truth, your Infinite Divine, etc.?
- Do your children see examples of living your faith?
- What are some habits and routines you have in your home, e.g. meals, time together, etc?
- What does “ritual” mean to you - do you create a “sacredness” to it? If so, how?
- Do you have any ideas for the new year to instill rituals in your family?
