Pat's spiritual journey became her life priority at an early age. She began her career in the field of nursing, received a master's in psychiatric nursing, and then a doctorate in clinical psychology. Her spiritual journey has taken her deep and wide in exploring many of the major world spiritual traditions. She was called to Unity ministry in 2019, graduated from the Unity Urban Ministry School and was ordained in June, 2025. She has been called to a ministry in Social Justice. Her goal is to inspire others to become involved in social justice that is complementary with Unity theology and principles. She and her team are also involved with Prison Ministry.

In earlier life, Pat was an active sailor and earned two black belts in karate. The archetype of the Warrior, including Kwan Yin, goddess of compassion, is a strong calling for her, including in her social justice ministry. Her Native American spirit name is Warrior Heart. She has a beloved daughter Ali, and a beloved dog, Tucker.
