Samhain Ceremony

Samhain, Oct 31, 7-8:30 pm. Hosted by Mark Smith and Katja Sage.
Samhain...thinning veil...summer's end and year anew...final harvest...first frost...a blazing fire...looking into the darkness of the bones of the Earth. A time to honor the Ancients and our own Ancestors, for magic, for communion with spirits in the hidden realms, other worlds, and Nature. A chance for reflection and transformation, as we Remember.

We will be outside around the fire, so bring what you need to be comfortable outdoors on an Autumn evening (water, warm clothes, walking shoes, flashlight, etc). Please also bring an item for our Samhain/Ancestor altar, as well as offerings for the fire (small wood, incense, etc.), drums, rattles, flutes, etc. Meet in the Spiral Labyrinth for ceremony. All donations support UCP, which generously provides our gathering space and programs in the Outdoor Sacred Spaces.
