Winter Solstice (Yule) Celebration

Yule marks and celebrates the Winter Solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the solar year. This rebirth of the Light was a miraculous time for our ancestors and kin: though Winter held more months of long nights and cold, the Sun's presence was on the increase, and the dark time, waning.  We, too, observe this turn of the wheel as a sacred time of celebration, a turning point and time of renewal for Nature's innate powers and our own spirits.
