The summer has a lot going on, but also not enough to keep your kids busy. Which also means that you as the parents are balancing your work and the activities of your children at the same time, still. So similar to the school year, sometimes it is great to have a place to corral your children for an evening of entertainment, social interaction, and to be fed.
The Unity Center of Peace is hosting a movie night on Friday, July 17th from 5-8pm with food for children and adults. We'll be viewing the movie "Flow", which is an animated story of a Cat, who lives a solitary life, until its home is devastated by a great flood. After finding refuge on a boat populated by various other animals, they all team up to survive.
We encourage you to bring camping or yoga mats, pillows, and other comfy stuffies to help make a memorable evening.
Doors open at 5 pm. Food is served at 5:30pm and the movie starts at 5:45 pm. There are bathrooms available, though they are not fully accessible. Accommodations for persons with disability will be provided upon request. Parents or guardians are requested to stay for the evening; there is a quiet spot to chill and read, or you can walk the labyrinth out back. We'll be serving pizza, homemade saag, sliced fruit, and non-caffeinated drinks.
Join us for a night of good food, good new friends, and a great movie! Registration is requested to manage dietary requests. Space is limited to 20; sign up now!
