A Newer Thought
The last few weeks we’ve been exploring the roots of New Thought (of which Unity is a part.) And we’ve discovered this beautiful patchwork quilt of various influences from a variety of different sources...
In this blog you will find inspirational quotes from many of those sources ranging from the ancient Vedas, to Plato, to Jesus, through the Transcendentalists, to New Thought pioneers who endeavored to synthesis these various influences and create a working system for applying these profound spiritual truths to their lives.
I invite you to take a passage and meditate on it for a few days, then move on to another passage that speaks to you and meditate on that one. Please share your experience with this exercise.
From the Isha Upanishads:
“To the seer, all things verily become the Self; what delusion, what sorrow, can there be for him who beholds that oneness?”
