What does it mean to be fully ourselves? Or, to "be" fully in our lives? This Sunday we'll be exploring our multidimensional selves and how we can connect to the Source behind all of form and experience -- the "Breath of All Things" as is referred to in the Tao. Then, we'll be participating in an activity that will assist us in remaining awake to that connection.

This week Rev. Victoria will focus on the "pray" and "love" aspects of living a joyous and fulfilling life, through her adventures in Europe. By our willingness to move through our fear, open our hearts, and trust the Divine is always at work through, in and as us, we begin to show up fully and shine more brightly.

Most of us are more likely to remember the Truth that the Divine is at work through, in and as us, when we are surrounded by spiritually-minded folks on a path of awakening (such as Sunday morning at UCP!). But do we remember it when we're at work having difficulty with a co-worker, or after someone has rear-ended our car, or in the middle of a busy day with too much on the "to-do" list? How can we experience our "spiritual selves" more often, and when it matters the most? Through her travel adventure, Rev. Victoria will share some strategies, as well as a new perspective on eating, praying, loving and being.

Rev. Victoria is happy to be back home at UCP and to celebrate Father's Day with us! We'll also be launching into an exploration of the Tao and finding joyful ways to dance with apparent opposites. To honor Fathers, and all who have served in that role, we will explore the true nature of the Divine Masculine (as differentiated from the shadow-side of the masculine). By embracing this aspect in all of us, and finding the perfect balance with the Divine Feminine, we become whole and Life begins to flow abundantly.

Ironically our expansion and growth do not depend as much on our capacity to act but on our capacity to flow, and allow, based on our disposition to seek the Kingdom first.

Most of the time when we talk about deep listening, we are referring to developing the skill of listening to our inner wisdom. This Sunday, Rev. Victoria will explore the skill of listening deeply to others, which is essential to our growing spiritual maturity, and helps us feel deeply connected. In addition, in preparation for Mother's Day, we will all have an opportunity to share about our moms and the impact they had on our lives.
