This Sunday we'll continue our exploration of Robert Brumet's book, Birthing a Greater Reality: A Guide for Conscious Evolution. Rev. Victoria will briefly share some of the author's ideas for bringing ourselves back to wholeness, but wants to reserve most of the time for a special activity. In light of Jean Houston's mystical experience shared last Sunday, she is inviting you to share your experiences of sudden awakening to oneness. These can be full mystical moments and cosmic consciousness experiences, or moments where it just all came together for you and you realized the Divine was infusing everything with harmony and love.
A Special Easter Service
Easter is a time to be joyful and celebrate rebirth and renewal. In that spirit of joy you (men and women) are invited to don your Easter Sunday best - Easter bonnets included - and come to UCP ready to share your light. There will be a prize awarded for most festive dress. So dust off that special outfit and hat, and let's have some fun this Easter!

Last week we explored how important it is to our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing to release resentments and forgive others. This week we'll look at how important it is to forgive ourselves - sometimes even more difficult for us to do. We'll look at the ingrained beliefs that make it so, how to heal them, and then offer ourselves the ultimate gift: self-forgiveness. Rev. Victoria will lead us in a practice together to release the "weight" we've been carrying around and experience true freedom.

We know that resentment creates a toxic energy in our body, our mind, and our soul. And we know that forgiving others is something we need to do to be spiritually mature, but it's not always easy. Rev. Victoria will share what we're really doing when we forgive and how we can successfully practice the art of forgiveness.

In a similar way, we can be convinced that we live in a world of lack and limitation, that life is a struggle, and fear and hatred are the predominant energies in play today. It seems very real. But what if we awaken from the dream, and realize it was never real? What if we realized that LOVE is what guides humanity, and we live in an abundant and harmonious Universe. You may have caught glimpses of this state of being awake, but how do we experience it more often? And how do we help others awaken so they might live from love? Join Rev. Victoria this Sunday to explore this idea.

In truth, love is all around us. We don't always see it because we're not always focusing our attention there. It's a world full of distractions, and our attention can easily be hijacked by all the craziness. Of course we always have a choice -- we can choose to take back our vision and focus on the people and places that are expressions of love. We can focus on the love within our heart. And we can choose to come together as a community, activate that love and send it out to the world.

Somewhere deep within us we know there is an underlying order to everything and that an abundance of good is waiting for our acceptance of it. But how do we align ourselves with that natural order? And how can we convince ourselves that we deserve an abundance of good? We must rise above our "human-only" thinking, and transcend the world of form to access a higher frequency of being. This month we have been guided in this direction. And for the last Sunday of the month we'll discover how to access this higher frequency and, from there, activate our good.
